We just wanted to say a big “Thank You” for all you have done for us over the past few months. We never dreamed we could have the results we’ve has in such a short amount of time. When we first thought about engaging in a personal trainer, we thought we’d get a few tips and mostly validation of what we were already doing. But you have given us so much more.
The education you have given us has been unbelievably enlightening. We didn’t know how muchwe didn’t know! As a result, we are worlds beyond where we might have been by just “doing it on our own”.
We prize the humor and fun of our workouts a great deal. As you know, we like to laugh and joke a lot and you have joined in right along with us. And you can take it as well as you can dish it out which always earns our respect.
Your patience is also greatly appreciated. You never seem to get frustrated when Andrew takes a little longer to grasp the step involved in an exercise or when Kelly questions or challenges a concept. You’re never belittling or act superior in any way, even when it might be justified.
Working with you has also been incredibly motivating, even when you’re not present. The temptation to scale back or skip a workout might be met with thethoughts of “We can’t because we’ll see Pat tomorrow” or an especially difficult challenge met might bring thoughts of “Pat would be so pleased”. We were so pleased to share our race results with someone who would appreciate it.
Finally, the encouragement you provide is invaluable. Our family and friends have been uncomfortable at best and discouraging at worst about our lifestyle and there’s only so much we can pat each other on the back. You have provided a support structure for us that we never would have dreamed about.
So, thank you again. To be perfectly frank, our life is better for having you in it. But despite our best efforts, words can’t express our gratitude enough. Being affected as we’ve been in such a positive way, we’d really like to help you succeed in helping others the way you’ve helped us. Whether it be assisting in planning or hosting an event, doing construction or renovation work or just being an extra set of hands or two when needed, please do not hesitate to ask.
