A little more about Aimee...

Aimee Deak was born and raised in New Jersey.  Her interest in fitness and sports started early, joining a softball team at age 6.  In high school she lettered in tennis, basketball and softball.  She also played on several local softball teams and a semi-professional team.  The coaches suggested she begin weight training to improve her strength.  That was the beginning of Aimee’s love for weight training and fitness.  That love continued through college where she played NCAA softball for Hofstra University in New York from 1985 to 1989. It was there she began working with a professional trainer and bodybuilder and learned the many training techniques she still uses today.

She moved to Los Angeles in 1992 and began her career in the Entertainment Industry.  Ten years later, Aimee noticed that she had let her physical fitness take a back seat to her career.  After reading over 30 books on fitness and trying (unsuccessfully) over 10 different eating plans, she enrolled in classes and received her Personal Trainer and Nutrition Analysis Certifications in 2001.

With the proper tools in hand, Aimee began working on an exercise and eating plan.  A plan that anyone could do and be successful.  She says, “Embarking on an exercise and nutrition plan is hard work.  Breaking old habits are the most difficult thing to do but, once you begin to make exercise and proper eating a part of your daily life, you get hooked.”  Aimee believes that seeing results is the best motivator.  That’s why she wrote her book “Every Body Loses”.  Giving people the right tools to change their bodies and their lives has been her goal.  She was inspired to write this book after seeing people in the gym trying to improve their physical condition the wrong way.  She says, “Watching people work out using improper techniques and then refueling their bodies with a candy bar made me crazy!”

She wanted to help people learn the right way to exercise and to eat so their efforts would not be wasted.  Aimee wrote this book so everyone can have access to her plan and will be able to reach their fitness goals economically and on the first try.

Aimee was the lead female trainer at World Gym in Burbank, California from 2004 until 2006. She was the Fitness Director of Gold’s Gym in Totowa, New Jersey from 2007 to 2008 and is now a trainer at Transformations Fitness and Wellness (a highly specialized workout studio) in Bristol, Pennsylvania.

In March 2008, Aimee placed 3rd in Women’s All-Natural Bodybuilding at the

OCB Tri-State Classic.
